If you're not quite sure what this "GIFT" is, try to translate it from German. This poem may seem very creepy in a way, with someone sounding like they're suggesting murder. Don't fret, this poem talks of the many suicides we see today. If you understand what "GIFT" means, then this free verse will make much more sense. Many suicides are due to depression which is caused by economic disadvantages, judgment bullying, or other things like abuse.
Kristy I like the way you used "gift" and not actually meaning a gift you give someone, you gave it a double meaning.
